Today I am ecstatic to introduce (or re-affirm for her current fans) the amazing Mary Elizabeth. I love this content creator on YouTube but even more impressive is that she started off in fashion design, transitioned to a YouTube page called A Fab Life with her friend Leah, and then went off on her own a couple of years ago. Her designs are exactly my aesthetic but, more importantly for this blog, she weaves some organization into her videos and crosses them with fabulous design. My favorites include:
This is a highly practical video but for all of you with small closets out there, it’s super helpful. Plus, I just like to look at her clothes, shoes, and jewelry since it all looks so fabulous!
This is my favorite video because the result is just so beautiful. I’ve watched it probably 20 times and am taking inspiration for my own linen closet which is in need of some serious TLC. If it were me, I would just leave the doors open all the time. (Also, I love how she just gets very real in the video and looks at the camera like, “Why did I get myself into this BS?”/eye roll – NEVER CHANGE MARY ELIZABETH.)
I’m a sucker for a good DIY but I’m even more so when it’s upcycled. Why buy something new when you can take something old (or buy it at a much cheaper price) and make it into something beautiful? Again, love her videos and how they feel so real and not over-rehearsed. She could totally jump-cut that shit out but I like it more because she doesn’t. Also, anything gold… I die!
